They don't see its evil. They view it as essential noble in theory but perverted in practice by some of its adherents. The Left refuses (or is unwilling) to see any reality to an Islamist threat. I see this with Hollywood movies all the time; for example the remake of The Manchurian Candidate and the new movie "V". <BR/><BR/>To the Left, the war effort is something created by the Republicans through manipulating the citizenry with fear to the benefit of oil comapanies (ie Halliburton). The Left can not grasp principles, they can not grasp ideas so they can not see the threat posed by Islam and its practioners. So they see no need for war, but rather some court cases and maybe bombing an empty factory or two (ala Clinton).<BR/><BR/>Between the Left's pascifism and the Right's turn-the-other-cheek Christianity we are left undefended.<BR/><BR/>Anyway, I love your blog and I am always eager for your updates.<BR/><BR/>D.
